EDUCATION
The Education
Committee arranges for informative educational seminars that provide
continuing education credit and selects topics for monthly
membership meetings. This committee meets on the third Wednesday of each
month at 12:00 noon at Landmark Professional Mortgage.

/ ATTORNEY
The REALTOR /Attorney
Committee arranges speakers for the REALTOR/Attorney Class which
meets the fourth Thursday of each month, where Attorneys,
REALTORS and Affiliate members discuss legal and risk
management issues, exchange information, and plan programs
to benefit Association members. This committee meets
on the third Wednesday
of each month at 1:00 at Landmark Professional Mortgage.

PUBLIC
RELATIONS
This
committee is meant to establish and maintain cooperative
relationships with representatives of the community,
consumers and public interest groups. To bridge
the gap by partnering with Title Companies and Mortgage
Brokers and help to educate our community and bring
awareness to the value of home ownership, and the real
estate industry as a whole. This committee meets on the
second Thursday of each month at 9:00 am at Willamette
Valley Multiple Listing, 3421 25th St SE, Salem.

SPECIAL
EVENTS
Develops social functions
whose purpose is to bring Association members together in a social
atmosphere. Plans community service projects. Works with the Salem Association of REALTORS
Community Fund to organize the Children’s Christmas
party, food drive, and other public relations efforts.

OUTREACH
To be active in reaching out to
the membership with the goal of increasing participation
in membership activities and programs. This committee meets
the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. at
Regional Multiple Listing Service, 2110 Mission St SE,
Suite 305, Salem.

GOVERNMENT
AFFAIRS / POLITICAL ACTION
This committee responds to legislative and
political issues of concern to the real estate industry.
The members interview candidates for political office, and assist in
determining support from the Association for local
elections. This committee meets the first Monday of each
month at 12:00 noon at Landmark Professional Mortgage.

services to commercial REALTORS
